Terms of Use
Welcome to Faith Children's Home (the "Site"), an online service provided by First Baptist Church of Santa Barbara. Your use of the Site is governed by the policies, terms, and conditions set forth below in this Terms of Use Agreement. Please read them carefully. By using this site or submitting donations to Faith Children's Home you indicate your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, the terms and conditions set forth below (also referred to as this "Site Agreement"). 

Username, Password and Security 
You will choose a username and password during the Faith Children's Home order process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and your account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify Faith Children's Home of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you log off from your account at the end of each session. Faith Children's Home cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section. Your account is for your personal use only and may only be used by you and your immediate family members living with you in your home.

Donors: Credit card account number, expiration date and CVC, and address and telephone to verify your credit card. Payments and account creation are handled securely by FoxyCart, LLC, a hosted shopping cart solution. We are proud to be fully PCI DSS compliant and registered with Visa's CISP. We are certified by our security assessors as Level 1 Service Provider, which is the highest level of PCI compliance and certification. FoxyCart uses SSL encryption through Digicert for the faithchildrenshome.foxycart.com domain.

Your Account
Once you create an account, you will be able to login and view your donation history, as well as modify or cancel any ongoing donations you have. You can access this area at http:faithchildrenshomeuganda/account

Renewals and Ongoing Donations
The Site offers two different ways to donate funds: 1. One-time donations and 2. Recurring Monthly donations. These are clearly marked in the site. For Recurring donations, the amount you specify will be withdrawn on an ongoing basis, according to the period you specify (weekly, monthly, etc). Unless you notify Faith Children's Home that you do not wish to renew your recurring donation, Faith Children's Home will automatically renew your donation each period and bill the then-current renewal fee to your designated billing source.

Cancellation/Refunds
If you wish to cancel your recurring donation, you have several options. 1. Follow the link in your most recent email receipt, titled "cancel your subscription. 2. Log in to your account: http:faithchildrenshomeuganda/account

Communication with Children
As a part of supporting individual children, you may periodically receive communication from that child. Faith Children's Home takes the utmost care and security in regards to communication from sponsors and from children. Each piece of communication will be reviewed by our staff and edited for any content deemed inappropriate.

Information Collection & Use

Registration and Payment
No registration is required to use the public areas of our Website, but in order to access certain site features a registration is required. These services are complex in nature and require that we store and rely upon certain Personal Information that you will provide to us.

When we collect personally identifiable information through the Website registration process you can correct or modify that information by editing your user profile. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our Website.

Communications from Us to You
Registered Site Visitors and Paid Members: we will, from time to time, communicate with you via email at the address provided in your profile. These communications will be based on our relationship with you, offering information and incentives to participate in our community, or special offers we believe will be of interest. You may at any time opt-out of most communications, but certain emails must be sent to registered site visitors and paying members as part of your ongoing relationship with us. If you cancel your free or paid site registration/membership, we will stop all email correspondence once your cancellation has been successfully processed.

Unregistered site visitors (guests): no emails from firstbaptistsb.com will be sent to you.

Acceptance of this Policy
By using this site, you signify your acceptance of our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use our Website. This Privacy Policy supersedes all privacy policies and other similar standards previously issued by us.

Password Security
Faith Children's Home maintains commercially reasonable safeguards to ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of personally identifiable information submitted to our Website, and we periodically review and update security measures in light of current technologies. Your password is a component of the Faith Children's Home security system. As such, it is your responsibility to protect it. Do not share your password with any third parties. If your password has been compromised for any reason, you should notify Faith Children's Home immediately.

California Privacy Rights
Under California Law, California residents have the right to request in writing from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship, (1) a list of the categories of personal information, such as name, address, e-mail address, and the type of services provided to the customer, that a business has disclosed to third parties (including affiliates that are separate legal entities) during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties' direct marketing purposes, and (2) the names and addresses of all such third parties. The security of your Personal Information is very important to us. We attempt to provide for the secure transmission of your information from your PC to our servers by utilizing encryption software. However, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that communications between you and Faith Children's Home, and Faith Children's Home and you, will be free from unauthorized access by third parties, such as hackers and your use of the firstbaptistsb.com Website signifies your assumption of this risk. Only those Faith Children's Home employees who need access to your information in order to perform their duties are allowed access to your Personal Information. Any employee who violates our privacy and/or security policies may be subject to disciplinary action, including possible termination and civil and/or criminal prosecution.
